The staff is friendly, and yes, all Native tribe members.
Since the first time I stopped here, they have added a big fenced dog park, and the trees are larger, and every site has some shade. The prices are VERY reasonable, and the sites are all level, and full hook ups. Yes, it is kind of in the middle of nowhere, and about 11 miles from Cortez, CO, but well worth the trip. And of the many parks I have been to, I have this one as one of my favorites. This is a RV park that is run by the Ute Indian Tribe and attached to their casino. Hotels near Yucca House National Monument.
